Art, Pen

Midnight Bulletin

For once,
I can walk barefoot
and take off all the shoes
who peeled off skins on the way.

And wash off that grin,
dried impasto around the eyes.
Red lips are black inside,
and no more scars to hide.

Once again,
sweaty hands can’t take it more.
They slip and they part,
a little tragic art.
